The Corian worktop consists of a non-porous and homogeneous material, composed of approx one third of acrylic resin and two thirds of natural mineral substances. Corian is an advanced composite suitable for many uses in architecture and design. It’s supplied in sheets with thickness up to 19mm and being a thermoformable material it’s possible to realize any type of shape, besides the possibility to realize integrated tanks made of the same material without visible joints. The continuity of material and the absence of joints allows hygiene and easy cleaning at the highest levels. The top in Corian is totally waterproof, doesn’t generate mold and doesn’t create deposits of bacteria. The damages due to improper use of the material can be repaired on site. The surfaces in Corian are indeed renewable with the use of appropriate abrasive detergents and sponges.
